Few things to post about:
My camera lens won’t auto focus itself. I have no idea why it stopped, but now I have to get it replaced. I’ve been trying to set up my wi-fi in the house, but my router box is complicated. I give up for now. My phone isn’t being so great and keeps freezing up like usual. Technology does not like me.

I knew that she was influenced by her unhappy marriage. She was also influenced by some of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s characters for her own. It’s quite depressing if you think about it. You’re pretty much reading about her past, just tweaked a bit differently.

Wasn’t Mattie the one with the idea of it and he just went along? I was doing some research about it and apparently Wharton was influenced to write that by a sledding accident that actually had happened where one girl was killed and four more were injured, one of them Wharton supposedly knew.

I noticed he was more of a boring fellow. He didn’t seem to have any determination of making his own decisions but let others do it for him. I did think it was interesting about how the two tried committing suicide by crashing into a tree while sledding, which is different from the normal jumping off a bridge or hanging ordeal.
